First of all, I — author Kella Campbell — respect your privacy regarding any information I may collect from you or which you may provide to me.

This privacy policy describes how I (and any services I rely on, such as my website host and mailing list service) collect, use, communicate, disclose, safeguard and otherwise make use of your personally identifiable information (“Personal Data”).

I will only collect and use your Personal Data where:

Personal Data collected via this website

This website automatically collects certain information when you visit – including what link you clicked to arrive at the site, the pages you’ve viewed, the time of your visit, your IP address and the country from which it appears to originate, the type of browser and operating system you use, and the domain name of your Internet service provider. This data is collected by my website security plugin to identify and block hackers and other malicious threats.

If you comment on a blog post, an anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it (see Gravatar’s privacy policy here). After approval of your comment, your Gravatar profile picture will visible to the public in the context of your comment.

You may also choose to provide additional information to me by commenting or using the contact form, or by signing up for my newsletter and/or blog post emails. This information is voluntarily provided by you and will be guarded and treated with respect by me.

Cookies

This website uses cookies to automatically recognize logged in administrative users (me) and returning commenters (you, if you’ve ever commented on something on this site or used the contact form). I understand that Google Analytics also uses cookies in relation to this website to help me learn more about how visitors use my site, and some other third-party plugins may do so as well (including social media sharing tools). Age of consent for Personal Data collection

This website and my newsletter and books are intended for adults, and I do not knowingly collect any Personal Data relating to children aged under 16 years old. If you are under the age of 16, please do not provide me with any of your Personal Data, including your email address. If you are under 16 years old and want to talk to me about being an author, please ask a parent or guardian to contact me on your behalf.

Access to and control over your Personal Data

You have legal rights under applicable law in relation to your Personal Data. You can contact me to:
